To be well with oneself is much more important than to ask questions about your weight or appearance. "My life would be perfect if only I was larger, thinner, if I did not have glasses, if I had clear skin!" Do you really believe that? With all the changes which occur during adolescence, you can easily become obsessed with your appearance.

Adolescence is a time of great growth. The mass of muscles and fat will increase: your body needs it. You grow, your hips are enlarged, your thighs and your buttocks thicken. Ah yes! You become a woman!

The majority of the women who have a balanced diet are neither too large nor too thin. But it is quite difficult to be satisfied with your body. It is you that is the most severe judge but this is not a subject about which you can be the most objective. If you are tall and well shaped, you weigh more than if you are short and small. You may weigh a little more just before your period.
How many women maintain with food a difficult and guilty relationship! (Lisa raises her hand.) They count each calorie and refuse things that they want. The more regularly you refuse what you like, the more you will throw yourself on food prohibited to compensate. You can eat chips, cakes, candies, chocolate, if you eat them from time to time, and if you eat other foods which balance. If you need a snack between meals, select a fruit or a yogurt.
Chocolate waffle says: "You cannot continue to eat me like that!"
Girl says to waffle (with hearts floating around her): "But this is part of a balanced diet!" (That's what I say alll the time about pain au chocolat.)

For those who are overweight. So if you are overweight, it is perhaps that you absorb more energy than you expend. (Oh, thank you for being so nice to say that. I am certainly not as nice when I discuss this subject with myself.) Regularly make sport or exercises. Certain girls eat much and remain thin, others grow bigger with the slightest distance. (I have no idea what that means.)
The miracle diets do not work, you take again more weight as soon as you stop them. You need to eat in a healthy and varied manner. Do not forget to eat fresh fruits and vegetables. It is up to you to find your balanced food, thus you will be able to forget the reducing diets.
All women have hairs, some of them remove their hair. Hairs appear initially on the genital zone, then under the armpits, on the legs and sometimes on other parts of the body. The fair hairs are seen much less than the brown hairs. Certain women choose to shave or tweeze (?) to remove the hairs of the legs and the armpits. Other women do not do it. Certain people find the hairs under the arms very sexy... It is a question of taste! (I keep trying to like hairy armpits. I keep trying.)

Make time for breakfast: you need energy to make it through the day. Bothered by what you do eat? An exaggerated concern for your weight can bring health problems. If you feel that the preoccupation of food invades your life, you need assistance.
OK! So. Now that the girls are feeling happier about their bodies and themselves, and the boys are all snoring, it's time to wake them up with a picture of a hard-on.
Text above cartoon panel: Sexual development is marked by a whole series of body transformations, it is puberty. It can arrive any time between 10 and 18 years, but generally, it starts around 13 or 14 years. The exact moment of this debut isn't important. The timing does not change the fact that you will be an adult.
Top-left cartoon panel:
- You become taller and more muscled.
- Your shoulders broaden.
- Your genital organs (penis and testicles) take on volume.
- Your voice becomes deep.
- Hairs appear on various parts of your body: legs, genital organs, arms, the face, the chest.
- The chest and the nipples can become sensitive for a short time. (I didn't know that. Learn something new every day.)
- These changes are prolonged until 20 years or thereabouts. Whether it starts early or late, or goes quickly or slowly, it continues until you are fully developed.
- Your pronunciations can be painful for a moment. (Huh? Maybe they are talking about the voice changes can make talking weird for a while?)
- It may be that pimples and black spots appear on your face, your neck, your chest and your back.
The end of the penis is called the nipple. It is much more sensitive than the remainder of the rod. (Sometimes I have to just leave the Babel Fish translation exactly as it was given to me.)
At rest, the penis of the man is soft, directs downwards. In erection: the penis hardens, it becomes longer and broader, it moves away from the body and stands upwards.
The penis makes it possible to urinate, make love, to reproduce and to have pleasure. (It's a multi-tasker, that one.) When your penis is in erection, you cannot urinate because a muscle closes the bladder. The shape of a penis in erection is variable. (You can say that again.) For the majority of boys, it is slightly curved, and can point more towards one dimension. (Would that be, like, the 5th dimension?) Erections (hardening) are possible at any age, including babies and old men.
Why do I get hard? Is it a bone? A muscle? Is my penis full of sperm? No, it's full of blood. There is a kind of sponge that has an interior which inflates with blood and hardens as soon as a man is excited sexually or automatically, like the morning upon waking, for example. There are no muscles in the penis, this is why you cannot hardly make it move. (I don't know...I've seen some interesting "dick tricks." You can watch Puppetry of the Penis uncovered here. This video is funny, even if the prudes covered everything up. The little old lady saying, "I've seen a lot of penises" made me laugh out loud.)
Erections are capricious. Erections go and come without telling. They can arrive just like that, sometimes in embarrassing situations. They can disappear so easily. Erections can be difficult in certain circumstances: after an extreme consumption of alcohol, narcotic, when they are afraid not to be at the height, to enjoy too quickly, to cause a pregnancy...
So...we arrive, sadly, at the end of lesson two. In our next lesson, we can look forward to a full-on, bend-over-with-a-mirror vagina shot, and my absolute favorite image in the whole book: the mouse and the stinky cheese. Until then, I bid you adieu.
